Description:

Wupatki National Monument preserves many pueblos and field houses as well as pieces of rock art, baskets and pottery left by the Anasazi and Sinagua Indians. Abandoned some 800 years ago, the site is now home to a visitors center which features interactive exhibits about the history of the inhabitants and builders of these pueblos. The park sits north of Sunset Crater National Monument, about 30 miles north of Flagstaff.

Hours of Operation:

Open daily, sunrise to sunset; Visitor center open daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Entry fee (7 day pass): Adults $5; Children 15 and under are free.
