Description:

This popular ski resort receives an average annual snowfall of 260 inches and features four chairlifts serving 32 runs covering a 2,300-foot vertical drop. It is located seven miles northwest of Flagstaff. The Nordic Center, located a few miles north of the Snowbowl, provides superb cross country skiing trails.

Hours of Operation:

Mid-Dec - mid-Apr: Daily 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., depending on the weather.

Admission Details:

All-day lift ticket: Adults $46; Juniors (8-12) & Seniors (65-69) $25; Children 7 and under and Seniors (70+) are free

Its small, but I had tons of fun. The rides long if you take the lifts to the top, and hike up to the bowl. If you like the freeride feel, for its size, snowbowl is great. It would be even better if it was $10 cheaper!
